designed for those who want to sample the adventures and rainforests of western Belize.
For maximum flexibility, rather than a set itinerary, it offers a smorgasbord of
activities from which you can tailor your own package.*
ITINERARY
| Day 1: Pick up in Belize City. After
settling into your cabins, enjoy a guided tour of Tropical Wings Nature Center and
Butterfly House. |

- Tour ancient Maya site Xunantunich, with its
impressive Castillo.
- Visit Cahal Pech, a classic Maya site on the edge of
San Ignacio
- Go caving in Che Chem Ha, a dry cave full of Maya
pottery.
- Canoe through Barton Creek Cave, also used by the
ancient Maya
- Horse back ride through the countryside
- Tube or kayak on the Mopan River
- Tour the Belize Botanic Garden for a comprehensive
look at tropical trees and other plants
- Visit Chaa Creek Natural History Centre, its Blue
Morpho breeding center, and medicnal plant trail
- Visit Poustinia, an outdoor sculpture garden
featuring works by Belizean and international artists
- Learn about iguanas at the Green Iguana Project and
walk the medicinal plant trail at the San Ignacio Hotel
- Hike, birdwatch, while visiting the ancient Maya
site El Pilar

- Travel to Caracol, the largest Maya site in Belize,
in the heart of the Chiquibul Forest
- Cross into Guatemala to visit Tikal, one of the
major sites of the Maya world ($20 additional cost in border exit/entrance fees)
- Go caving in Actun Tunichil Muknal, perhaps the most
spectacular cave in Central America
- Tour the Mountain Pine Ridge, with stops at Rio Frio
Cave, Rio On Pools, Big Rock Falls, Five Sisters, and San Antonio Village
- Inner-tube through caves at Caves Branch
- Spend the day canoing down the Macal River, with an
optional stop at the Botanic Garden or Chaa Creek Natural History Centre
- Visit Guanacaste and Blue Hole National Parks to
hike, cave, and swim
- Tour Belize Botanic Gardens; then lunch and
horseback ride or canoe at duPlooys Jungle Lodge
- Check out the Mennonite community of Spanish Lookout
and continue on for a day of hiking, nature, and archaeology at El Pilar

Price includes all lodging, breakfasts, lunches and dinners, transport, admission fees,
guide fees, and hotel and sales taxes from Day 1 pickup through Day 4 drop off. It does
not include airfare to/from Belize, departure taxes, tipping (optional), or personal
purchases.
This price is offered to groups of 2 or more.
Prices are based on double-occupancy rooms. A 10% down payment reserves a time-slot
for your group; the balance is due upon your arrival.
Too many activities to choose from? You can
extend your stay for $95US per person for each additional day with tours, meals, and
lodging, or $40US for meals and lodging only.
